NBSC PARTNERS WITH SSS TO PROVIDE ENHANCED SECURITY FOR JOB ORDER AND COS WORKERS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) officially forged a partnership with the Republic of the Philippines Social Security System (SSS) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the KaSSSangga Collect Program on September 30, 2025. This event underscores NBSC’s ongoing commitment to support not only its regular personnel but also its job order (JO) and contract of service (COS) workers.
Held at the NBSC Boardroom in the Central Administration Building, NBSC was represented by Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I; Sir Benzar Glen S. Grepon, MIT, Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO); Ms. Rahbie Adaptar-Teologo, RPm, Head of the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO); Ms. Libra Mae D. Manzano, and Ms. Kristine Joy P. Gubaton, CPA.
Representing the SSS were Valentine V. Aunzo, Branch Head of the Cagayan de Oro-Lapasan Branch; Febes P. Malicse, CEO II / Account Management System (AMS) Head; Leizl Mercado of the Job Shadowing Program; and Decie Ar G. Galvacion, Senior Analyst.
Through the KaSSSangga Collect Program, NBSC enables its JO and COS workers to register as self-employed members of the Social Security System. This arrangement provides them access to important benefits such as sickness, maternity, disability, retirement, and loan programs, helping to fill gaps in their social protection.
This initiative affirms NBSC’s dedication to enhancing employee welfare by providing vital social security benefits, further strengthening its responsibility toward both permanent and non-permanent workers.
